God is so great!

Don't you just LOVE it when the Lord answers a prayer? It's so wonderful! Not only because obviously there was a need that needed to be met, but more importantly, it brings you closer to the Lord. It's a reminder that He is here, caring for you, loving you, watching over you and taking care of your needs!! I think that is the most AWESOME part of an answered prayer!!! The Lord answered a prayer for me yesterday! In my last bible study meeting, my prayer request was that the Lord would provide extra income to help pay for my new CPAP machine. The Lord knows that my man and I are learning how to live on one income and it seems unexpected expenses keep popping up! Well, I received a phone call today from my previous employer, asking me if I would be willing to come back as a temp for the next few months. I will be working Thur & Fridays since my husband is off those days and can take care of our boys. They would love for me to work 40 hours a week but I explained that I only would do that if the Lord provided the right person to watch my boys the other 3 days a week. The Lord is in control! The Lord loves His children and He will provide. It's such a gift when He reminds of His love.

I took Little Bear to the mall play area today. He loves playing there with the other kiddos and I enjoy it because it's out of the heat. While watching Little Bear play, I met a really nice lady that just moved here from San Diego. I felt the Holy Spirit prompting me to turn the conversation to God. I was so nervous because I did not know how she would respond. I feared rejection. This is the first time I have witnessed to a stranger. It actually was an awesome experience and I am thankful that the Lord chose to use me. I pray that a seed was planted and that one day she will understand and choose to accept God's wonderful gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
